So, you’ve taken piano lessons for years but you still can’t play on your own. 
You know the scales and can read off music sheets, but you can’t just take a seat at the piano and make music. 

Do not be concerned.  It isn’t your fault.  You see, literally masses of people are the same as you.  They’ve taken piano lessons for years and while they can play a piece by Bach or Beethoven, they can’t for the life of them work out how to create something original.  Something that is not penned by a dead composer or that isn’t on music sheets.

Non-public instruction is routinely the handiest method of the easiest way to learn piano, but if you believe that having a private instructor isn’t for you, then do not be concerned, there are lots of alternative routes to learn piano. 

Stick with the course

The courses that are open to you online have enough material in them to keep you busy for ages.  If you stick to your selected course, you’ll be ready to reach your objective of teaching yourself to play piano.  Teaching yourself to play piano may appear very frightening occasionally but if you’re determined and put in a valiant effort, you will be pleased with your results. 

Practice

You know the old saying practice is the key.  By practicing and practicing some more, it is the only way that you’re going to improve.  It isn’t important if you have private instruction or following an online course, these are only tools to teach you a lesson.  You are the only 1 that can make you get in front of the piano or keyboard and tease the ivory. 

Enjoy Yourself

Learning how to play piano by yourself can be tough, but this doesn’t suggest that you can’t enjoy yourself too.  As with anything else, rest when you need to, don’t over burden yourself with an exhausting practice schedule and progress at a steady pace.  Whatever the reason that you have for selecting to learn piano, you’ll have a hard time achieving your goal if you are not enjoying yourself.
